Third Week

This week in Intro to Cakes, we made an apple torte. This torte took all day to make and had many layers to prepare. The vanilla chiffon genoise was so good and looked really great as a layer in the cake. In Bakeshop Production the class made three different breads, cheddar cheese rolls, focaccia bread, and lean dough rolls all were very good especially the focaccia bread.

  3. i liked the idea of the apple torte, but the filling was gross and so was the chiffon genoise. our teacher needs to come up with some better recipes. so far i'm not impressed. our breads were awesome though!
