Week Six

Introduction to Cakes....
Crunch Torte with Vanilla Chiffon Genoise cake,  Whipped Cream, and Nougat layers

 

Bakeshop Production... 
Apple pie with fresh apples, pie crusts, and woven top crust.

  1. the woven top crust is really cool. the cake looks so good with the layers. what are the brown circles on top, pieces of chocolate?

  2. yeah... we melted down chocolate and then made it smooth and thin and cut it out w a small cookie cutter. Easy idea and made it look pretty neat.
